SMS Terms & Messaging Program

Last updated July 27, 2026

Who sends these messages

Licensed independent insurance agents using Ledger, a CRM built for insurance agents, send SMS messages to leads who have requested a life or final expense insurance quote. Messages come directly from the individual agent handling your request, not from a shared or automated marketing number.

Why you're receiving a text

You are contacted because you submitted your contact information to an insurance lead vendor or advertisement requesting a life/final expense insurance quote. The agent texting you is following up on that specific request — to confirm receipt, answer questions, and schedule a call. Ledger does not purchase, sell, or text phone numbers that did not come from a quote request.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your conversation with the agent — typically a handful of messages while your quote request and any scheduled call are being handled. Msg & data rates may apply.

Sample messages

  • "Hi {{name}}, this is [Agent Name] with [Agency] — thanks for requesting a life insurance quote. When's a good time for a quick call this week? Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "Hi {{name}}, following up on your insurance quote request. Do you have any questions I can answer, or would you like to schedule a call? Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
  • "Reminder: we have a call scheduled for [date/time] to go over your insurance options. Reply YES to confirm or call us to reschedule. Reply STOP to opt out."
